Rooms Deutsches Studentenheim

The spacious rooms at Deutschen Studentenheim are practically equipped. All rooms have a washing facility and are furnished with a bed, desk, wardrobe and chair. Mattresses must be brought by you from the time you move in for the winter semester 2022/2023. The required mattress size is communicated with the information on the rental agreement.
The bathrooms (with showers and toilets) can be found on each corridor and are for shared use. They are cleaned on a daily basis (Mon-Fri) by an external cleaning company. Residents are provided with shared living areas and kitchens in their individual corridors.
On the third floor is the residence chapel, which is always open to residents as a place of silence and for prayer. Church services are held here for the resident community during the semester. The Breul bar can be found in the cellar. This is where residents and guests meet to play games, chat and enjoy parties. There are several washing rooms in the residence, which contain washing machines and dryers for communal use (for a fee).
On the ground floor is the music room, which is available for bands and musicians to rehearse in, and a reading room with the current daily newspapers.
The residence roof terrace is a great place to hold barbecues and relaxed get-togethers. On the first floor, residents have access to a sauna managed by the sauna attendant as part of student self-administration.
The current rent for the approx. 15-18 sq. m. rooms is:
- € 235,00 /month for all rooms (from 01.01.2023)
The price includes all bills such as electricity, water, heating, fees, etc.
A broadband internet connection is provided in the residence by the student self-administration. This can be organised and billed separately through the network attendant.
There are kitchens and lounges on the floors where all residents can prepare and eat food.
The range of kitchens in the corridors has been expanded due to the discontinuation of catering during the week. Each corridor now has two communal kitchens.
